February 16-23: In honor of African-American History month, we spotlight African-American culture, history and cinema with eight films that will engage and inspire. Each evening screening will feature speakers, special guests and performers, coordinated by members of the festival committee. Join us on closing night for a special African American Heritage Concert featuring Chuck James and special guests.
Opening night reception: Feb 16, 6-7:30pm:
Come dressed for the Jazz Age à la Josephine Baker or Duke Ellington! Enjoy elegant pūpū by Soul Café and Catering, along with wine, beer, and soda for purchase, and a performance by Chuck James. Screening at 7:30pm. See the menu. Tickets: $25, $20 museum members. Purchase in advance online.
