Art Ambassadors

Alyce Dodge is an artist and art educator. She has a BFA in drawing and painting from the University of Hawai‘i.


Tammy Jennings is an artist, writer and educator. Tammy has taught in the United Kingdom and now teaches throughout Hawai‘i, including at Chaminade University. Her students range in age from preschool through adults. She received an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University.


Marcia Pasqua is an accomplished visual artist who teaches for the Hawai‘I State Foundation on Culture and the Art’s Artist in the School program. She is also an ARTS FIRST Professional Development presenter and mentor, a contributor to the ARTS FIRST Essential Arts Toolkit for K-5 teachers and an Education Associate Director for Hawai‘i Arts Alliance. She has a BA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Hawai‘i.

Susan Hogan is a museum educator at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum. She has a B.F.A. in sculpture from the University of Hawai’i and received a Secondary Education Certification from Brigham Young University-Hawai’i.

Jacqueline Rush Lee is a sculptor who lives and works in Kailua, O‘ahu. She has an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa with a BFA in Ceramics with Distinction. In addition to being an Art Ambassador for the Honolulu Museum of Art, Jacqueline is an artistic teaching partner for the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and the Hawai‘i State Art Museum where she teaches arts residencies in the schools in a range of media. She  exhibits her artwork nationally and internationally and her work is in private and public collections.

Quala-Lynn Young is a multi-disciplinary artist and arts educator.  Since 2000 she has taught the arts in public and private schools, museums, community centers and retirement homes. From 2007 to 2010 she was the Curator of Education at The Contemporary Museum (now Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House). In addtion to teaching she is currently pursuing a masters degree with an inter-disciplinary focus on bookmaking, visual art and poetry. She is also a Honolulu Museum of Art docent .
