The Hawai‘i Forest Industry Association's annual statewide juried woodworking show is a celebration of the art of woodworking and the positive roles of forests in Hawai‘i's culture, economy and ecology. On view are heirloom-quality works made from native koa, mango, kamani, milo, Norfolk pine, macadamia nut, kiawe and other Hawai‘i-grown woods.
From highly-refined bowls to stunning furnishings and sculptures, Hawaii's Woodshow offers the public an opportunity to see, in one venue, the best works from many of the islands' most talented craftsmen and women. The categories of works are furniture, woodturning, sculpture and musical instruments. There is a special student division for ages 18 and under.
Opening reception: Friday, April 8, 6:30-9pm
