See prints by artists from all over the state in the 86th annual juried exhibition of Honolulu Printmakers at the Honolulu Museum of Art School.
Juror: Liz Chalfin: Specialist in non-toxic printmaking and founder of Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence, MA.
2014 Gift Print Artist: Margaret Barnaby: Multimedia artist specializing in narrative woodblock prints and jewelry.
Opening Reception: Wed, Feb 26, 5-7 pm
Gallery Hours: Tues-Sat from 10am-4:30pm and Sun at 1-5pm
Call to artists:
This is a juried exhibition open to works in all hand printmaking media, including lithographs, screenprints, relief, intaglio, monoprints, letterpress, artists' books and any work on paper which includes at least one of the previously stated hand printing techniques as a significant element in its execution. Electronic and digital print media may also be used in combination with hand printmaking.
Entry drop-off: Feb 21, 2-6pm
At the Honolulu Museum of Art School Gallery.
For neighbor islands: Feb 19. Must include prepaid return postage.
Entry fee: $10 per entry for HP members; $20 per entry for non-members; $5 for students with current university I.D. Three entries per artist will be accepted.
