Hawai‘i is known as a great melting pot of many diversities. People immigrated here and brought along with them their religion, culture and art. As they begin to share their cultures with each other, they integrated themselves within the Western cultures such as pop culture, urban art and the everyday changing of fashion. They brought with them their traditional art, which is a symbol of their identity and they made their way into tattoo parlors. These people of different cultures began to inspire, innovate and share with each other their art such as American Traditional, Black & Grey, Graffiti, Asian and Pacific Island that later formed an evolution of what we now see today, as a fusion of New Tribal Art.—Soul Signature
