Event Information:

Every December BOHS celebrates the holidays and this year we focus on the art of giving back. Bring a few items for our Canned Food Drive then enjoy the Oahu Civic Orchestra, the Mele Mai Paki Handbell Choir and, of course, Santa Claus!

Activities end at 3pm, but the museums remains free and open until 5pm.

Art Activity

Snow Globe (11:00am – 3:00pm)
Even if the weather outside isn’t frightful, you can still make it snow.  Make a unique magical world filled with dinosaurs, fairy princesses or anything your heart desires.


Oahu Civic Orchestra takes Center Stage (1:00pm)
Mr & Mrs Claus' schedule
They'll be in the level beneath the Banyan Courtyard. Take the stairs near the Indian Gallery.
11:10am - 12:15pm
1 - 1:45pm
2 - 3pm 

Drawing contest:

Congratulations to last month's contest winner, 5-year-old Ariyana Simeona. 
Kids (ages 1-17) can enter the monthly drawing contest. The Academy gives contestants a theme and drawing supplies. The winner receives a Family Level membership to the Honolulu Academy of Arts (worth $95), and his or her artwork is used to create the following month’s event brochure and is posted on the Academy website.
