The museum's Robert Allerton Art Library holds its first sale of more than 500 volumes. You will find art-related books in excellent condition, including rare Japanese books from the Richard Lane Collection.
The bulk of the books, duplicates from The Contemporary Museum's library, are in English and about contemporary art and artists. Artists covered include Joan Brown, Leon Golub, Willem de Kooning, Takashi Murakami, and Alice Neel.
Payment: Credit cards only (AmEx, MC, V). Cash and checks will not be accepted.
