René van Rems Euro Floral Design Master Class Workshop

Internationally known floral designer René van Rems leads a three-hour master class designed for all skill levels. The class is limited to 40 students.
Learn how to create your own European vegetative high-style floral design and also a Euro-style hand-tied bouquet, which will include a mix of unusual mainland flowers and local tropicals. René will model his floral design and assist students in interpreting and creating their own similar arrangement and bouquet to take home. All flowers and containers will be provided.
About René van Rems:
Originally from Amsterdam, René has called San Diego, California, home for more than 25 years. René studied Floriculture/Horticulture at the Rijksmiddelbare Tuinbouwschool at Aalsmeer (Floral Institute). He has led design shows, workshops, and seminars throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia on the styling of fresh-cut flowers. René has also been a frequent speaker at leading art museums including the Minneapolis Art Institute, San Francisco’s de Young Museum and Ringling Museum of Art.
