Head to the Honolulu Museum of Art Shop Oct 12 to meet talented Honolulu photographers. Prints, books and posters featuring their work will be available for purchase. Some of the photographers on hand will be National Geographic’s Paul Chesley, Bruce Behnke, and James Cave.
Chesley’s more than 35 photographic essays commissioned by National Geographic has seen some of his photographs achieve iconic status. Paul will sign his new book Paul Chesley: A Photographic Voyage, and will also sell posters and prints of his work. His work is now on view in the exhibition Hawai‘i: Our World, Our Place at First Hawaiian Center.
For the past decade, Behnke, has photographed the natural beauty and wildlife of the Hawaiian Islands, Polynesia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and China. He makes his own archival quality prints in limited editions of 10 to 25 copies.
