August Moon, our wine & food summer benefit for art education features wines from more than 30 winemakers from around the world, food from some of O‘ahu’s most interesting chefs and restaurants, and Drawn Out—a chance to purchase original art by some of Hawai‘i’s most notable artists.
Proceeds from August Moon directly support the museum’s art education programs, which means you can help thousands of children access classes, activities and school tours to explore their passion for art.
Johnson Brothers Distributors provides the wine, and chefs create small plates for specific pairings. In the lineup so far:

Each ticket allows three electric kiln firings for students at the Art School.

SOLD OUT | TABLES
$10,000: seating for 10 with wait service, two magnums of premium wine and reserved parking
Your purchase provides more than 50 low-income students with scholarships to the Art School.
$5,000: seating for 10 and two bottles of premium wine
Your purchase funds the museum’s Art to Go outreach program for an entire grade at a local school, serving 100 students.
$1,500: seating for 8 and one bottle of premium wine
Your purchase allows the museum to host a docent-led school tour for 375 students.
$650: seating for 4 and one bottle of premium wine
Your purchase provides two hours of Expression Session interactive art workshops for more than 70 children at Spalding House.
