Public is invited to see the artist in action at these times:
Feb 10–14, 10am–noon, Honolulu Museum of Art School Print Studio
As part of programming for the exhibition Hiroshige's City: From Edo to Tokyo, lithographer Motoda Hisaharu will be in the Honolulu Museum of Art School print studio working on an artwork that he started in Tokyo. The public is invited to watch the artist in action as he completes the plate then produces prints that he will donate to the Honolulu Museum of Art and the Honolulu Printmakers.
This residency is made possible with the support of the Honolulu Printmakers, which is providing studio assistants and supplies for the printing of the aluminum plate lithograph.
