Slow Art Day: April 1, 2017
April 01, 2017 10:00am-12:00pm
Honolulu Museum of Art
On the first Saturday of each month the museum leads quiet contemplation of selected artworks. At the Front Desk, you’ll receive a map marked with four works of art. Take a stool, find the art, and sit in front of each one for 10 minutes. Take time to allow ideas and questions and personal connections to come to mind. Art can be a powerful means of communication.
At 11am, all participants meet in the Coffee Bar to discuss the works over complimentary iced tea.
Free with museum admission ($10 adult, free for children 17 and under).
