Our favorite modern zen artist returns to ARTafterDARK. See Andy Lee create works of art combining Eastern and Western ways of thinking and painting. It is pop culture rendered in traditional calligraphic brushstrokes. Visit him for a free painting to hang on your wall!

All the first floor art galleries are open during ARTafterDARK.  Also check out the following galleries with exhibitions that are ending soon:

Spotlight Gallery:
Gallery 16 (docent-led zip tour): The Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou. See paintings by artists of the Yangzhou School, which is often considered to mark the beginning of modern Chinese painting. The Eight Eccentrics, the superstars of the Yangzhou School, emphasized stylistic innovation and bold brushwork in their paintings. Zip tour starts at 6:30pm. Meet the docent in the gallery.

Looking for a fun activity with your friends?  Try ?art!
