With animated sequences by Santa Cruz artist Dave Gardner and music played on Ray Barbee’s acoustic guitar, Patrick Trefz’s short focuses on a surfer who awakens to the day with his trusty fin under his arm, and follows him as he rides through a morning landscape of mountains, waves, and meadows on his way to the beach.
