Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) presents an unprecedented gala evening featuring the stars of the world’s leading dance companies performing the most beloved pieces of classical ballet. The gala, which took place at the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida, includes documentary footage of interviews with artists and choreographers, adding special insight into the history and meaning of classical ballet. Dancers from the American Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Mariinsky Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, New York City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet perform classical repertoire from such works as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Giselle, and Don Quixote.
