This year’s selection of shorts includes talents from the islands’ young up-and-comers, regional skate posses, and riders from O‘ahu’s major skate shop teams.

Nani Kore takes its name from a Japanese phrase meaning, "What is this?" Freewheeling and abstract, this short film of Honolulu-based skaters juxtaposes retro skate maneuvers with Japanese pop and experimental music, creating a fun, if sometimes jarring, effect. Indeed, it may have you wondering, "what is this?" as you tumble through the viewing experience.
