VSA Hawai‘i at the Museum Art School

VSA Hawaii’s mission is to promote awareness of the value of arts in the daily lives of people with disabilities, and to foster opportunities for the full inclusion and participation in all the arts by youth and adults with disabilities, especially the unserved and underserved in Hawai‘i.

VSA Hawai‘i is an affiliate of VSA—The International Organization on Arts and Disability, an international nonprofit organization affiliated with the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. VSA International was founded in 1974 by Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith to create a society where people with disabilities learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts.
