Honolulu Museum of Art
Docent Irwin Schatz leads a tour highlighting emotions expressed through art. From the love portrayed in Mary Cassatt’s oil painting The Child’s Caress to the hate that vibrates in the 17th-century Italian painting Cain Slaying Abel, the tour looks at works that reflect how great art serves as a conduit for the powerful emotions we experience throughout our lives. The tour is followed by an art discussion over a glass of iced tea in the café.
Free with museum admission.
