This exhibition celebrates Micronesian culture, and culminates with the 4th annual Celebrate Micronesia Festival. See an array of woven objects and artifacts that represent the diverse weaving techniques of the islands of the western Pacific.
Pictured above at right is a traditional sail from Lamotrek Atoall in the central Caroline Islands. The sail, which traveled thousands of miles to hang at the entry to this exhibition, is one of the only in existence. Learn more about it here.
