This juried exhibition encourages participation from artists in all media who wish to explore fiber related work. The juried exhibition sometimes includes a component for traditional ethnic works as well as contemporary styles.
This year's juror: Tom Klobe
Tom Klobe is professor emeritus and founding director of the University of Hawai'i Art Gallery. During his 29-year tenure at UH he organized and designed over 200 exhibitions—five of which received the prestigious Print Casebook Award for Best in Exhibition Design, in competition with major museums in the US and abroad.
Opening reception: Thursday, August 30 • 5:30-8pm
