Tom Walker: Incipit

Tom Walker’s visually striking, multi-faceted paintings are inspired by archetypal creation myths and explorations into philosophical notions of order, chaos, and the unknowable fourth dimension. Digitally produced diagrams serve as the basis for hard-edge, geometric compositions which straddle the boundaries between abstraction and representation, and reality and imagination.

Jonathan Swanz: Parallel

Glass artist Jonathan Swanz exhibits two bodies of work developed over the past several years. Vibrantly colored pieces are inspired by Hawaii’s unique flora and fauna; while fluidly organic sculptures display transparent and reflective surfaces and build upon an interest in the raw, energetic, and expressive potential of the material.

Downtown Drawings

Twelve Oahu-based artists exhibit works in a variety of drawing media that reflect on experiences, impressions, and interpretations of downtown Honolulu. Featured artists are Cody Anderson, Allyn Bromley, Michelle Conley-Harada, Debra Drexler, Solomon Enos, Brady Evans, Ava Fedorov, Wendy Kawabata, Jinja Kim, Bronson Shimabukuro, George Woollard, and Keith Yurdana.
