'Ahu 'ula (feather cape)

Haʻalelea feather cape of ʻiʻiwi red feathers, koʻo black (mamo) feathers, and yellow ʻēʻē, with heart design. Has olonā backing. Man body of cape of yellow feathers. two hearts, one on either side of back, near bottom, in red. Across back in black feathers, a wing-like design spreading from center and curving to within six inches of either sde of cape. Two ends of wings decorate each side of cape. A lei-like band of alternating red, yellow, and black feathers is around neck. Backing and ord to tie cape of ecru color.
