This all-level class is geared towards continuing development of techniques for making hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery. Students with a basic working knowledge of hand-building and wheel-throwing will have the freedom to explore a variety of methods for creating ceramic wares with support from the instructor. You will be encouraged to set and work towards personal goals for your artwork, utilizing techniques presented. Demonstrations, visits to the museum’s galleries, individualized instruction, and practice will help beginners and more experienced ceramicists hone and develop pottery-making techniques.

One bag of clay and all firings and glazes are included with tuition.

Registration for this class closes on December 26.
