Learn the fundamental techniques of hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery in this beginner-level class. Pinch pots, coil building, wheel-throwing, and slab forming are the foundational techniques for creating most ceramic forms such as vases, cups, and bowls. Demonstrations, visits to the museum’s galleries, individualized instruction, and practice will help you develop these essential pottery-making skills.

One bag of clay and all firings and glazes are included with tuition.

Registration for this class closes on December 28.
