Join Bob Steele, collector, donor, and HoMA Trustee, for an intimate conversation with HoMA Director and CEO Halona Norton-Westbrook on the impact and legacy of Black culture within contemporary art and the Steeles’ important gift to the museum. As Forward Together: African American Prints from the Jean and Robert Steele Collection’ comes to a close, we celebrate this transformative acquisition, which increases HoMA’s representation of art by artists of color and its ability to tell the story of the enormous contributions of African American artists, the medium of printmaking, and the artistic styles and themes of the late-20th and early-21st centuries.
