As Forward Together: African American Prints from the Jean and Robert Steele Collection’ comes to a close, we celebrate this transformative acquisition, which increases HoMA’s representation of art by artists of color and its ability to tell the story of the enormous contributions of African American artists, the medium of printmaking, and the artistic styles and themes of the late-20th and early-21st centuries.
