Watch local ceramic super stars, Ashley Huang and Danielle Oliva throw on the wheel and hand build works of art.
Kids will use air-dry clay to create a hanging vase for dried flowers.
Kids will scratch different designs and patterns onto scratchboard cut outs. The shapes will resemble ceramic vessels found in the museum’s collection.
Danielle Oliva will offer hand building demonstrations at Spalding House. She will help kids make animals out of colored air-dry clay. Kids will then use their animals and objects from the museum's Lending Collection to create a stop-motion animation video using iPads.
