October 15, 2017 10:00am-04:30pm
Honolulu Museum of Art
Halloween is coming! Kids can test drive their costume or make their own prince or princess costume at the museum, then dance and sing along with Uncle Wayne and the Howling Dog Band.
Entertainment and art activities end at 2pm.
LEAHI (LEGO Enthusiasts Association of Hawaii): 10am-2pm. See castles inspired by those in Europe and Japan made from LEGOs created by members from LEAHI. Kids can also play and build their own castles with LEGOs and will receive one LEGO minifigure for free courtesy of LEAHI.
Wearable Art: 10am-2pm Kids can add to their prince and princess costumes by making magic wands and crowns.
Uncle Wayne and the Howling Dog Band: 10:30am-1:30pm. The band will be singing songs and sharing stories! Uncle Wayne, a former preschool teacher, has shared his original music with Hawai'i’s keiki for over two decades and recorded two solo CDs. He formed the family folk group “Uncle Wayne and the Howling Dog Band” six years ago. They’ve created a positive musical ruckus at schools, libraries and their monthly Family Pau Hanas on O'ahu and Maui ever since.
