Join us for a fun-filled day of music, games and art as we celebrate our 85th birthday.
11am–12:30pm: Samadhi aerial performance
1pm–1:45pm: The Society of Young Magicians will dazzle you with their reality-defying sleights of hand.
2–3pm: Enjoy the enchanting sounds of the Mele Mai Paki Handbell Choir.
Noon–3pm Balloon Monsoon helps the museum celebrate its 85th birthday with its fabulous balloon art—take one home!
11am–1pm Race to the finish. Head to Banyan Courtyard to play on a lifesize board game and roll a giant dice. Whoever reaches the end of the board game first wins!
12:45pm & 1:45pm: Simon Says in Central Courtyard. The winner of each game receives a prize-filled gift bag!
11:00am – until supplies last: Let’s Go Fishing! Catch and take home a real fish! One fish per person, please. Everyone’s a winner!
Art Project, 11am-3pm
Face painting: Get your face painted in celebration of the Honolulu Museum of Art’s 85th birthday. Face painting artists will be in Banyan Courtyard.

Food and treats
Whole Foods Kahala will be on hand with kid-friendly dishes available for purchase, noon-2pm
11am - ?: We'll hand out free birthday Otter Pops! (While supplies last)
Congratulations to last month's contest winner, 7-year-old John Min from Honolulu.
Kids (ages 1-17) can enter the monthly drawing contest. The Academy gives contestants a theme and drawing supplies. The winner receives a Family Level membership to the Honolulu Academy of Arts (worth $95), and his or her artwork is used to create the following month’s event brochure and is posted on the Academy website.
