The filmmakers behind Chasing Ice follow a group of coral experts to capture our changing oceans. Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. Divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. Orlowski and his team shot more than 650 hours of underwater footage over three years, and acquired additional footage submitted by volunteers from 30 countries.
In collaboration with Honolulu Civil Beat, join us for a post-screening panel discussion with environmental scientists and educators who will address how current issues of climate change affect Hawai’i today. Panelists to be announced.
