About the Performance:

Praised by Downbeat Magazine for their “engaging jazz...with scintillating plays of light and subtle colors,” Pacific Harp Project’s emergence on the music scene has surprised listeners with a unique and exciting sonic experience. By incorporating classical harp music into the realms of jazz, pop, and fusion, this groundbreaking group “leads the listener to the conclusion: The harp has been unchained.” (AllAboutJazz.com)

Join Pacific Harp Project for the release concert of their highly anticipated second CD, following their Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning debut album. Special guest artists Kenny Endo (taiko), Allen Won (saxophone), and Jamie Jordan (vocals) will join core musicians Noel Okimoto (vibraphone), Todd Yukumoto (saxophone), Megan Bledsoe Ward (harp), Jon Hawes (bass), and Allan Ward (drums) collaborate together for an unforgettable night of music.
