Through several simple exercises, still lifes, portraits or self-portraits, and a constant practice of painting, we will experience and understand oil techniques,  how to control of brightness and light, and sharpen our sense of composition. Students will also be able to work on their own creations and will be encouraged to use classical tools and techniques to create contemporary paintings.
