About this Class:
Emphasizing hands-on learning of practical, basic fabrication techniques, new students can choose from assorted project outlines to develop specific skills. Elements of design will also be discussed. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace and be inventive with their designs. Experienced students will have opportunities to further hone their techniques. Highly suggested to bring design ideas and inspirational images to class.
This class will visit the museum galleries to study the collection for inspiration.

Where: All classes are held in the Art School Metals studio.
Tools & Supplies: Silver and other metals may be purchased from the Art School for additional fees.
Open Studio: Students must have completed one introductory metals course at the Honolulu Museum of Art School and must be currently enrolled in a class to attend.
