Photographing the world around us often involves a myriad of professional and personal challenges that teach us to be better
photographers. As photographers we are learning every moment. Out of hundreds of photographs made, how does one choose an image that tells the story on deadline?  Lum will assist participants better their imagery by focusing on personal visual voice through a combination of sharing and editing sessions, portfolio reviews and photography assignments. This workshop embraces a multi-faceted approach to photojournalism and the journalistic ethics involved.

Required: DSLR camera with 50mm 1.8 lens. 

Students must have working knowledge of using camera, exposure.
