Learn different ways Hawaiians processed kapa after the fermentation process and pound your own piece of fermented kapa. The fermenting process breaks down the fibers to prepare them for the second beating. It sometimes causes the kapa to smell very strongly and is something of an “acquired taste," so be prepared for that. All tools and materials provided. Recommended for those with previous kapa making/instruction experience.
Supply Fee: $20 supply fee paid to instructor
