Withdrawal and cancellation policies

Workshops (three sessions or less)

Workshops that are three sessions or less are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Classes (four sessions or longer) 

Students enrolled in a class have two weeks before the start of the class to withdraw and receive a refund, net, of a $25 processing fee. Alternatively, a student may also opt to transfer into another class. Thereafter, classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Open studio

Open studio hours are non-refundable and non-transferable. Only students enrolled in participating classes can register for open studio.  

Cancellation due to emergency

If a student has a personal or medical emergency, they may request a tuition credit, which must be accompanied by documentation, subject to approval by the Studio Programs Manager. 
If for any reason Honolulu Museum of Art decides to cancel a workshop or class, a full refund will be credited.

Photography and media

By participating in Honolulu Museum of Arts’ classes and events, participants give permission for free use of their name, voice, artwork and picture in any advertising or promotion of The Honolulu Museum of Art.
