Develop an expressive visual artistic vocabulary in this ten-week class. Artists will work through several stages of mark-making, from scribbling explorations to developing symbolic narratives—adding to your personal “mark-making toolbox.” As you advance in developing your mark-making style, watch your work become more sophisticated. Visits to view the museum’s collection, Lending collection and exhibitions will support lessons and demonstrations and will cultivate inspiration for your work.

Students should bring a mixed-media sketchbook and folder/binder to the first class.

Registration for this class closes on December 26.
