Become familiar with the mechanics and materials of drawing. Students use traditional and non-traditional materials to learn about line, contour, gesture, and value. Emphasis is on building students’ confidence in their drawing ability. Includes visits to the museum’s galleries, where works from the permanent collection will provide inspiration, supplement our in-class demonstrations, and support your growth throughout the course.
