Explore fiber arts techniques such as shibori, expressive hand stitching, and weaving. Students will create a series of samples in each technique. Visits to see the museum's collections provide inspiration during open studio days when students can create using techniques of their choice with guidance from the instructor. Objects from the Lending Collection will also supplement demonstrations, provide inspiration, and support course content. Open to all levels. Those with experience can explore new techniques to add to their practice. Students should bring a mixed-media sketchbook and folder/binder to the first class.

Registration for this class closes on April 13.
