Explore the application of various techniques such as patination through liquid and heat application and enameling to permanently and semi-permanently add color surfaces to copper, brass, and more. Although the primary focus of this course is on testing and creating examples of the techniques covered, students will be encouraged to synthesize their learning in the creation of one final work. 

Please come to class with closed-toe shoes and a sketchbook.

Registration for this class closes on April 3.

Prerequisites: Students registering for this class must be confident in torch soldering, sawing, and metal fabrication and understand and practice studio safety procedures.
