Young artists will transform metal, wire, and more into expressive designs as they learn how to use exciting metalwork tools like the jeweler’s saw frame. Explore processes to stamp, texture, shape, and embellish wearable and nonwearable artworks. We will work with copper, brass, and non-metal materials to create sculpture and/or wearable pieces. Regular visits to explore the museum's collection support lessons and provide inspiration.
Closed-toe shoes are required in the studio.
Registration for this class closes on April 13.
