This class supports students with previous knowledge of ceramic processes in developing self-directed projects. The instructor will present advanced wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques with a focus on decorative techniques and glazing. Visits to view the museum’s collection and special exhibitions will provide inspiration and support course content. One bag of clay and all firings and glazes are included with tuition. 

Registration for this class closes on April 3.  
 
Prerequisites: Students registering for this class must have taken at least one course in the HoMA Ceramics studio, have a basic knowledge of wheel-throwing or hand-building, and a working understanding of the various stages of clay.
