Young artists will transform metal, wire, and more into expressive designs as we learn how to use exciting metalwork tools like the jeweler’s saw frame and acetylene torch. Explore processes to stamp, texture, shape, and embellish wearable and nonwearable artworks. We will work with copper, brass, and non-metal materials to create sculpture and/or wearable pieces. Regular visits to explore the museum's collection enhance lessons and will provide inspiration.
Closed-toe shoes are required in the studio.
Registration for this class closes on April 13.
