Artists are keen observers of their surroundings and use sketching to understand themselves and the world. From the detailed drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci to the scrawling notations of Rembrandt van Rijn and the bold drawings of David Hockney, each artist, regardless of style, lives a unique and never-to-be-repeated life experience. Learn how to develop a greater appreciation of your life while capturing your own experience through sketching.
Teaching Artist Mark Norseth encourages students to bring a personal sketchbook to class, but paper and drawing materials will also be provided.
Registration for this class closes on August 20.
Note: Sketchbooks, Blackwing pencils and other drawing supplies are available in the HoMA Shop.
