Discover the dynamic world of printmaking in this hands-on class where we will explore stencil-based monoprinting and linocut relief printing. Over the course of 10 weeks, students will learn how to design, cut, and print stencils to create layered monoprints, experimenting with color, texture, and composition. We will then transition to carving linoleum blocks, developing bold relief prints that showcase the beauty of carved linework and texture.

Through guided demonstrations and open experimentation, students will gain an understanding of both printmaking methods, from inking and registration to printing by hand or with a press. Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to expand your skills, this course provides the tools and techniques to create expressive, one-of-a-kind prints. All levels are welcome—no prior printmaking experience necessary!

Please note that there is no class on July 31. Registration for this class closes on June 26.
