Create a durable one-of-a-kind lined bag using fabrics created on HoMA’s looms in this intermediate-level class. The first weeks focus on creating samples with various yarns, learning sewing and seaming methods, and weaving fabrics for your bag. Then use those skills to create a unique bag. Supplementary fabrics and sewing supplies will be available, but students are encouraged to bring additional materials that line up with their creative vision.

Students must have taken a SAORI weaving class or have similar weaving experience and have beginner-level sewing machine experience.

Registration for this class closes on June 28.
