Students work in various art mediums including pencil, pen, charcoal, ink, and paint as they explore using the elements of art and principles of design such as line, shape, form, value, space, texture, pattern, rhythm, and proportion in expressive artworks. Includes visits to the museum’s galleries, where works from the permanent collection will provide inspiration, supplement in-class demonstrations, and support growth throughout the course.
