Ceramics • Ages 9–12 

Young artists learn techniques for creating hand-built and sculptural forms in clay using pinch pots, coil building, and slab forming—the foundational techniques for creating ceramic artworks. We will get to explore different methods of surface decoration and glazing. Classes will be enhanced by regular visits to view the museum's collection to find inspiration.
