Fiber Arts • Ages 9–12 

Students will explore various fiber arts materials and processes such as cyanotype fabric printing, machine sewing, and stitching to create sketches and finished artworks. Demonstrations will help students learn new tools and processes while prompts and themes will ignite creativity. Visits to view the museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions as well as the use of objects from the Lending Collection will help to inspire student work.
