Engage in hands-on learning to understand the technical skill of printmaking, its contemporary cultural relevance, and history. You will learn how to make a monoprint, collagraph print, relief print, and screenprint. The distinctions between these print techniques and media will support students' art vocabulary and practice, promoting a better understanding of the art of printmaking. Visits to the museum to explore its collection and special exhibitions will provide inspiration, and support course content.

Please note that there will be no class on Nov. 30.
