During this eight-week class, we will look at how artists from across eras and cultures approached the art of painting. You will experiment with gouache, watercolor, ink, and acrylic on a variety of surfaces. Lessons will cover creative application of a range of techniques to make expressive artworks. Lessons and demonstrations will be enhanced by visits to the museum's galleries and use of objects from the Lending Collection as inspiration.
